Nigerian Meal, September 22, 2016Please join Friends of Nigeria for a delicious Nigerian Meal on Thursday night, September 22nd, at 6PM. The meal will be served at The Mott House, 122 Maryland Avenue NE, Washington, DC 20002. The menu will feature many traditional Nigerian dishes shown in the pictures above: Moin Moin, Iyan (Efo only), Meat pie, Jollof Rice with Fried Plantain, Assorted meat (Beef and Shaki only), Eba - Egusi with Efo, & Fried Fish. All these will be prepared and served by our caterer, Wura Adekeye, also shown above. After dinner there will be a panel discussion featuring young Nigerian Americans who live with one leg in each of two cultures and feel they belong to neither.
The dinner costs $40 per person, and you must sign up by September 15th. Go to www.friendsofnigeria.org/event-2042483 and select Nigerian Dinner Only.
