We call your attention to "Nigeria's Invisible Crisis," an article by Leslie Roberts in the April 7 issue of the the journal Science from the American Association for the Advancement of Science. While compelling, this article is a serious look at the epidemiology of starvation as it applies to the Nigerian context. It details how hunger amplifies infectious diseases for millions fleeing the violence of Boko Haram. Copyright rules preclude us from publishing the article here, but we hope many of you can secure access to this article from your own sources.
