Nigeria's oil minister calls for oil producing cutback

    Nigerian Oil Minister Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu pleaded for an emergency meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries to throttle back on production to bolster prices. The appeal came during a panel at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the Wall Street Journal reported Jan. 21.
